Epivets are currently working on a joint venture with VetNZ to assess the prevalence and risk factors of damaged tails across 200 New Zealand farms. This project which has been made possible by the Sustainable Fibres and Futures Fund is a big step forward in helping improve the welfare of dairy cows across New Zealand.
